Why read Gentle Subversions?

Gentle Subversions is a repository for my musings on creating kinder futures. Here I offer up questions and reflections on place, home, being good neighbors to our #neighborspecies, and slowly becoming an elder. Sometimes I write about where I live, sometimes I write about the planet. Occasionally, I rant.

I write here as a mother, grandmother, and Baguio child. I try to keep things grounded: I don't dispense advice and I try not to give in to the temptation of hot takes. I have more questions than I do answers. You could consider Gentle Subversions a collection of anecdotal suggestions. Possibly, maybe.

Finally, let me be clear about where I stand: Free Palestine and End Political Dynasties in the Philippines. If you don’t like this, then just move along.

I count every subscription as encouragement, so thank you.
